Kent Churches

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Kent Churches?

We provide live streaming services for Kent Churches, using high quality cameras and audio feeds. This enables the community to watch the services from home.

Does it replace the church experience?

In short no, but it is another option to be able to see the service, and useful for people that cannot make it to the church. We recieve lots of emails from those that are housebound, and cannot make the service.

Can you quote for installation in our church?

Yes, we provide installation and support for any church in Kent. We have a number of churches we work with and many packages depending on what your needs are.

We also maintain and install church sound systems including hearing loops. If you have not currently got an internet connection in your church, we can advise on this with a number of ways of supplying this, even in rural churches. We are happy to visit for a no obligation site survey and chat.

Do I need to obtain licensing to stream church services?

Yes you will do, We will point you in the right direction of where to obtain more information. We can not be held liable for the content broadcast by your establishment.

How much does it cost?

All churches are different, and we have various ways of installing the equipment. We will do a full site survey for you to discuss what is possible.

How easy is it to use?

Our systems are VERY easy to use. We work with you to schedule your services, the camera automatically starts streaming just before the start of your service, and turns off after. You just need to ensure your sound system is switched on before the service as usual. We like to keep things as simple as possible, which also makes this a very reliable solution.

What are the internet requirements?

We can advise on this when we visit to do a site survey. We have installed systems on very low internet speeds, and made it reliable, these have been rural churches. We have also installed point to point internet links from other buildings to the church and made the small antenna hidden. We can now also provide our service using the 4g networks for rural churches, or churches where it is hard to get another internet connection to.

Can the services be recorded?

Yes they can be recorded, and there are several ways in which this can be done. We can provide full training after your installation has taken place.

Can we have our church as a private stream?

Yes we already stream some churches as a private stream that are not listed on our website schedule, which include funerals.
